Our client is a Michigan-based technology company that provides an all-in-one platform for streamlining selection and approval processes in higher education. Their platform simplifies tasks such as form building, application collection, review, approvals, tracking, and reporting. Designed for administrators, students, faculty, and researchers, it offers dedicated user access and customization to manage various processes like funding requests, program admissions, fellowships, awards, and administrative approvals.

Challenges

As the client's business expanded, they encountered several challenges in scaling and maintaining their platform. Below are the key difficulties they faced

Multiple Deployments: The client had to replicate their collaboration platform across multiple installations to accommodate new customers from different industries.

High Maintenance Costs: Managing six separate instances of the same product significantly increased operational expenses.
