Job Description

• Deployment and management of distributed web applications on Azure cloud environments.
• Cloud Native architecture experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
• Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience and knowledge
• Familiarity with database technologies such as Postgres and ElasticSearch
• Hands-on experience managing compute, networking, storage and other cloud Services
• Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks
• Familiarity with Financial Services Business

Skills and Abilities

• The manual and/or applied aspects of the position. What an incumbent must be able to do. Typically acquired through experience, training or over time.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, GO, Groovy, Bash. Experience using Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
• Experience in using source code management system such as GIT.
• Experience implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services. CKAD or CKA Kubernetes Certification (Nice to Have)
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
• Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
• Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
• Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
