One of India’s largest insurance companies with a revenue of INR 1000 crores. The client offers a diverse range of insurance products across multiple lines of business, including home, travel, rural, and commercial insurance, and it operates through several offices across India.

Challenges

The client faced several operational and technical challenges:

Separate Service Setup For Each Project: Separate Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services were created at the project level, leading to redundancy and high maintenance effort.

Lack of a Common Framework: Development efforts were unstructured, lacking a standardized framework to streamline processes.

Service Duplication: The same online services were hosted on multiple servers, further complicating maintenance.

Inefficient Integration: Both the portal and core System Integration teams had to handle significant, overlapping development efforts, slowing progress and increasing complexity.

Solution Provided

Synoverge implemented a standardized framework to address the client’s challenges:

Multi-threaded Processing: A scheduled process with multi-threading capabilities was introduced, allowing multiple proposals to be processed simultaneously, significantly speeding up operations.
